  1. The text files in this folder contain some material you may find useful
  2. in experimenting with ProIcon. All are in the public domain.

  4. Color Shape Grammar:  Input to "rsg.icn" in the "Program" folder. The
  5.     results are some randomly selected phrases describing some activities
  6.     of colored shapes. The grammar is easily modified to produce different
  7.     results.
  8.  
  9. Farberisms:  Sayings in the style of David J. Farber, one of the authors
  10.     of the original SNOBOL programming language.
  11.  
  12. Palindromic Sentences:  Sentences that read the same backwards and
  13.     forwards, if you ignore blanks, punctuation, and capitalization.
  14.  
  15. Palindromic Words:  All the words in Webster's Second that read the same
  16.     backwards and forwards.
  17.  
  18. Poem Grammar:  Input to "rsg.icn"; the results are "poems".
  19.  
  20. Vowel Words:  All the words in Webster's Second that contain all the
  21.     vowels in alphabetical order.
  22.  
  23. Words of Icon:  Words (including product names) that contain the substring
  24.     "icon" (including capitalization variants).
  25.  
  26. *.txt:  Short quotations from famous authors.  These may be useful for
  27.     testing text-processing programs.
